Epinions Plustek OpticBook 3600 Flatbed Scanner keeps my business humming

Pros: Reliable, fast and well designed, excellent interface. Software works well.
Cons: Bulky, long warm up time, goes to sleep too quickly. Photographs not a strong point.
The Bottom Line: If you scan a lot of books but cannot afford a planetary scanner, this model will meet your needs. Very reliable thus far.
Review: I run a small company that scans old often fragile books and converts them to pdf format on CD. I couldn't afford to purchase a planetary book scanner costing many thousands of dollars and a regular flatbed would not work on most of the sort of books I ...
